Media Artist Julia Christensen Turns Old iPhones Into Art

Following on from an idea in the previous post, creative-cap got in contact about an artist concerned with the implications of e-waste, creating installations from discarded media (in this case, iPhones as part of a projector unit) - video embedded below:

Julia Christensen (2013 Emerging Fields) is making DIY projectors out of discarded iPhones. In this video, she introduces her project “Burnouts,” which is part of a series of works supported by Creative Capital that explore our cultural relationship with e-waste.
